24/7 Fun in IT Park
by Aileen M. Quijano
What started out a haven for outsourcing companies has also become a haven for night owls on the prowl for fun.
Asia Town IT Park, with large trees and large space that do nothing but expand one's mind to the beat of relaxation, plays host to different hang out places - catering to those on a food trip, or needing a caffeine fix, or just want to chill out.
And so here is a run down of the buildings in IT park, and the establishments in them:
i2 Building
This building sits directly across the side entrance of Waterfront Hotel Lahug. For those needing their coffee or are obsessively craving Japanese food or fast food, there is Starbucks, Rai Rai Ken and Jollibee, in that order.
Other establishments include Abuhan Tres and Roma Mia Pizza. (They're still being set up as of this writing.)
If you fancy yourself a bookworm, Cagnaan Book Sales is nestled on the second floor welcoming browsers.
i1 Building
Coming after i2 Building, i1 attracts fusion eaters with the Chowabungga and Ila Puti. Both serve rice meals with hybrid flavors of Asian countries. Then there is Da Vinci's for pizza lovers.
For coffee, there is a branch of Bo's Coffee.
Skyrise Building
Although not as tall as skyscraper, Skyrise delivers high on the food trip and chill out fun. Walk just a block from i1 and cross the street for the experience.
For seekers of the authentic, other-country food, there is El Loco for real Mexican food and beer, and Tsinoy Fusion for Chinese dimsum (it also serves Filipino food).
For coffee, there is Mocha Java and Brown Cup. For a more relaxed evening, Patio Ecila offers just the right ambience.
Further from Skyrise is the CJRS Point Building, where there is the Loft, a chill out bar offering gourmet food and fancy drinks.
Since most establishments inside IT Park operate 24/7, you never miss out on the fun, no matter if you're a call center night owl or a regular daytime yuppie.
