Manila is quite a sprawling city, but the main places of interest are centrally located immediately just south of the Pasig River is the Intramuros, which is the old spanish town where many of the historic buildings are. South of that is the Large rectangular Rizal Park which are the lungs of the central area of the city.
On the superb little island of Boracay only 7 km long and 1 km wide is White beach, which is rated as one of the best beaches in the world with its fine powder like sands, and crystal clear azure waters make for a tropical paradise not to be missed.
Lazy days can be spent simply on the beach or joining in with one of the many beach activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, wind surfing and island hopping or just sit back and relax and soak up this stunning paradise in one of the many restaurants where a beer costs under $2 and a meal under $10.
